*WEB EXCLUSIVE* Sorority and Fraternity raise hundreds for Relay for Life

The sisters of Alpha Iota Chi and the brothers of Sigma Pi raised $400 for Relay for Life.

The sorority and fraternity co-sponsored the Rockin’ for Life Benefit Show in the Rathskeller (the Rath) on Dec. 2.

“I think the concert went great!” said Katie Comerford, a junior and vice president of AIX.  “The bands did amazing and everyone that came seemed to have a great time.  Not to mention we raised a lot of money for Relay for Life, which makes me really happy.”

The sisters of AIX work with Relay for Life (a charitable organization) every year.  The benefit concert this year was the biggest one they have thrown, in the hopes of raising even more money for the charity.

Comerford added, “It was a lot of fun, and I’m really glad we had such a good turn-out.”
