The Montclarion is a Media Organization of the Student Government Association, Inc. of Montclair State University. Published weekly, except during examinations, summer and winter sessions, The Montclarion is funded by student fees distributed by the SGA and by incoming advertising revenue. The views expressed in the Opinion section, with the exception of the Main Editorial, do not necessarily reflect the views of The Montclarion. The first edition of The Montclarion, then named The Pelican, was published on November 28, 1928.
