The Playoffs have begun for both intramural flag football, and badminton. In co-ed flag football "Webstone" cremated "Top of The Hill" 32 -12 in a rematch of their regular season battle in which "Top Of Hill" squeaked out a 9 - 0 victory. That's why the playoffs are called the second season.

In men's football, the playoffs began on Thursday the ninth, with Pike easily defeating Delta Chi in the Fraternity championship game 21 - 7. The Fraternity champion Pikes will make up one half of the independent championship game on Thursday October 16 at 9 p.m.

The badminton playoffs were played on Wednesday and Thursday 10/8 - 10/9.

In men's singles, "Robert Conner defeated Rossini to capture the title. "T and Steve Rule" knocked off "Fat Albert & Mr. Clean," in a very hotly contested match. "Mexican Mami" captured both the Coed doubles, and women's singles championships. With that, the Badminton season comes to a close. "It was a great season which saw much hard fought play, many bumps and bruises, and the shuttlecock being hit hard," said campus recreation assistant director, Keith Fonseca.

Next up for intramurals is volleyball beginning Oct 20, and bowling starting on Oct 26.
