"Double Dating" Takes on a Whole New Meaning

Dear G.M.,
I've gotten myself into a bit of a problem. I was seeing this girl from where I live for a couple of months, and then I met someone at school. She's a really nice girl, and I've kind of been seeing her at the same time. I'm technically not committed to either one of them, but I'm feeling guilty about seeing both of them at the same time. I'm not sure if they realize that we're not in a relationship. What should I do about this?

The terminology of dating can often be confusing. Between hooking up, seeing, dating, and "just being friends," the lines of love and lust are all quite blurry.
Although, you may believe that you are just seeing these two girls, they might be thinking something completely different. This is where your situation gets a littlebit difficult.
If you have talked to both of them about the fact that you are just casually seeing them, then you really shouldn't feel guilty at all.
Being single means being able to hang out with whoever you want and never having to answer to anyone but yourself, but if you've been misleading one or both of these ladies, then you may have gotten yourself into a bit of a conundrum.
Giving someone false hope is probably one of the worst things you can do when it comes to relationships.
If you have no intention of committing to either one of them, then you have to make that very clear to avoid mixed signals.
You're probably thinking that this is a pretty safe gamble. The chances of these two girls running into each other seems pretty slim, but don't be too sure of yourself.
Even though they do not attend the same school or live in the same town, it does not mean that they will not catch you in the act. If you've been telling either girl that they are the only one, then this will erupt into World War III if a chance encounter ever should occur.
Not only will there be slander between the two girls, but you'll also end up looking like and idiot and be left all by your lonesome.
