What comes to mind when you think of the word "life"?

No, not the cereal. Life. The term unofficially is defined as the conciousness of existence.

If any comparison would be made, the association to Life magazine would fit much better.

Something similar to a Gordon Parks photograph of the deep south, exposing the actual facts of the Jim Crow laws.

Doesn't that then reveal an existing conciousness? "Living In Full Effect", the acronym that that is contained in the name L.I.F.E. long attempts to do the same. Struggler's Paradise is the beginning of these depictions.

Regardless of the good and the, bad, the success and the failure, its all a part of life.

Aspects in which the emcee L.I.F.E. long reveals in his name: "Everything is composed of the positive, as well as the negative, elements that I incorporate into my music."

I first formally met L.I.F.E. in front of Fat Beats in NYC. The 6th Avenue haven for hip hop artists separates the dedicated from the dreamers.

I happened to be passing through on my way to an open mic as L.I.F.E. stopped me holding a copy of Cuts and Collabos, a culmination of his finest cooperative work.

Approaching me as a humble man, not a product, I bought a copy and we exchanged contact info. After months of correspondence, this interview is here right before your eyes. Some may say its coincidence, or even the result of probability. I say its just life...pun intended.

Life's debut album comes by way of the E.P. Struggler's Paradise. Let it be known though he's been in the game for years.

Roughly ten years to be a little more specific. Now affiliated with Cajo Communications, he sets his sights on hitting heads with a message. The title, Struggler's Paradise sets up whats to come:

"We've all been through our own struggles in one way or another. Paradise is the place where you find happiness in spite of the struggle. "

"Paradise is also the goal you reach after struggling. We all on the grind, working hard but this is epecially for all those who make the effort not to give up but survive."
